It takes 2 days of driving to get to Bisti from Dallas, and in an effort to keep the cost down, and keep me closer to the location, I camped in several different locations along the way, and at location.
I camped at Mills Canyon on the Canadian River the first night night. I arrived with enough light left to do a little exploring and got some images made inside the canyon.
I spent 2 and a half days in the Badlands and surrounding areas, and made a few of my favorite images.
